The RNLI Polperrou0026nbsp;Sweater is a quintessentially Britishu0026nbsp;fisherman knit, inspired by traditional Gansey Jumpers made on Cornwall’s South Coast.
A true heritage inspired piece, these were traditionally knitted by fishermen’s wives to keep them warm at sea. Hard wearing and tightly knitted to resist sea spray and wind, the patterns represent waves, ropes and ladders, telling stories handed down through generations.
